So innocent, captured in this photograph advertising Paris When it Sizzles (1964). Audrey Hepburn was in this not-so-good film for reasons most of her fans are still curious. However, it re-united her with William Holden, her costar and love from the filming of Sabrina. Rumor has it that they were engaged, but she ended the engagement when she discovered that William had had a vasectomy; she loved him but wanted children more, and in 1954, this opperation was permanant.
He was still obsessed with Audey, and by this point reached psychotic drinking binges that made filming hard for everyone.
Audrey was stunningly beautiful in this strange film though.
Drawing was done freehand with graphite pencils.

That's really nice, great picture. It's just that the top of her head seems weird, but it's prolly just her hairstyle. :)
:wow: This looks so real, you're very talented! The hair looks great! Amazing work!

You're very, very talented. Congratulations, awesome drawing. :blowkiss:
Beautiful. Just a question: Do you take photos of your drawings or do you scan them?

*sighs with pleasure*
Sheer proof that Audrey was definitely one of the most beautiful actresses ever, if not THE most beautiful...
This is very nicely done, Matthew ^^
Once again, those eyes baffle me... so beautiful... *stares*

I almost always scan in favor of taking digital photographs. This one was really reflective, obviously, and that was due to the high usage of my favorite pencil: woodless-graphite, 8h, I believe. Dude, the stuff is marvelously black and glides on so nicely...its like an erotic experience on paper.
Yeah, so the scanner was unable to take a nice clear shot of the drawing due to the shiny heavy application of graphite. You can also see how the paper tends to stretch out a bit in areas with lots of heavy work.
Actually it is the hair; not trying to sound conceited, my drawing looks just like the photograph. Its just the styles of the 60s, you see. Here she had her hair in a double poney-tail with the lower section hanging freely over her shoulders and the upper bit fluffed and teased into a 'puff' sort of thing on top, if you get what I'm describing... It gives her head a very round appearance, don't you think?
