Audrey Hepburn 169 colored pen by Ethan-Carl Audrey Hepburn 169 colored pen by Ethan-Carl
This is based on what is probably my favorite photograph of Audrey Hepburn, photographer unknown. I love how the eyes are just aglow with life, the profile is stunning and graceful, and just how pristine and sophisticated she looks. Her neck is so graceful too, and this photograph shows it.
This is like my fourth drawing of this photo, and each time it gets better. It was my third drawing, then my first color drawing, then I did it again when I was better with colors and then I did it again just to get the preportions right. They could still use massive improvements, but in the meantime, I'm okay with it. Afterall, what is more comforting than to be able to improve? Drawings like this one allow me that satisfaction later on. :)

this is beautiful, just amazing.

people tell me all the time how much i look like her...i take it as an EXTREME compliment.
what do you think?

if i look to the left of me...i can see the eyes of this woman staring at me from the many posters i have on my wall.

love it.

Wonderful pose, it makes the vision a little dreamy, what I find pretty attractive. Great technical work, as usual :).

Maybe it is just me, but do you think her nose looks a bit big in proportion to her eyes? I mean, the 'nostril' area of her nose, not the bridge. But the whole actual 'nose' part?? I don't know..but to me.. the 'nose' looks a bit big when I look at it compared to her eyes. WHat do you think? Am I the only one??

Very beautiful. Hehe, "orgy you can hold in your hand;" that should be their slogan :giggle: You really accomplish amazing things with those makes me feel bad about my watch...

Prismacolor colored pencils.
Perhaps they should pay me to advertise for them; I have a good sales-man vocablulary:
They glide silky-smooth across the paper leaving behind a rich trail of pure beauty. The feeling is like an orgy you can hold in your hand and create infinate possibilities with.
