Taken as part of a series for Time Magazine, Audrey is seen in her appartment as a young actress circa 1954, fresh off of her Roman Holiday success and comming up to Sabrina. Provocative yet Audrey Hepburn tasteful, she is seen wearing a man's shirt and that's it, plus jewlery.
I just wish I had used larger paper because I ran out of room, and hate going to the very edge without margin, and thus made the poor decission to draw the telephone shifted higher and in less detail. I hate that part, but like the rest of the sketch, especially the area around her hand with the bracelets and her thigh and knees.
Looks great. I especially, for some reason, like the fabric- it looks very light and airy. I think you could remove the 'phone althogether, personally, as it looks a little strange where is is. Just having the cord going off the paper could be quite effective.
Still, just great as it is!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
